The present invention relates to novel binders based on quick lime and powder pozzolans and may also comprise one or more alkaline activators to improve mechanical characteristics, and/or fat to provide it with moister-proofing properties. The addition of such compounds also enables control of the setting time of mixtures made with it. Therefore, it regards to predominantly-aerated binders, when the pozzolan percentage is greater than or equal to 30%, or hydraulic, otherwise. In the implementation of coatings, the binders of the present invention lead to a drastic reduction of cracking by restricted retraction, in respect to that found by the use of other cements and hydraulic limes. These binders can be applied in building construction, road infrastructure, in the execution of masonry in foundations, rising of walls and its interior and exterior coatings, soil stabilization, in the construction of new buildings, cycle paths, walkways and earth barrages and dams, among others. |
