The present invention relates to an additive containing titanium intended to be introduced into a furnace to increase the longevity of the refractory masonry which contains residues containing of chloride resulting from the manufacture of the dioxide of titanium mixed with at least a substance chosen in the group including/understanding of the alkaline hydroxide, alkaline carbonate, the alkaline hydrogénocarbonate and of alkaline-earth carbonate. The invention also relates to a manufactoring process of the additive like its use in metallurgical industry of fusion or ceramic industry. |
