PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a zeolite catalyst which allows a lower olefin to be produced efficiently while restraining an aromatic component from being produced and which is excellent in persistence of catalytic activity and to provide a method for manufacturing the zeolite catalyst and a method for producing the lower olefin by using the zeolite catalyst.
SOLUTION : The catalyst for producing the lower olefin is crystalline aluminosilicate on which an alkaline earth metal, a rare earth element and phosphorus are deposited. The alkaline earth metal, the phosphorus and the rare earth element are deposited in this order at respective separate steps or the alkaline earth metal, the phosphorus, the rare earth element and the phosphorus are deposited in this order at respective separate steps.
