PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To reduce a change in volume of a permanent magnet caused by magnetization, and to provide a means for sustaining superior magnetic characteristics.
SOLUTION : In a rare-earth magnet compact includes rare-earth magnetic particles, and Al particles are densified, and Al particles are arranged inbetween the pore spaces, existing between the rare-earth magnetic particles. Then the oxide including rare-earth element and Al exists in a boundary division between the rare-earth magnetic particles and the Al particles.
