PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for economically advantageously producing a composition containing polylactic acid that has good hue.
SOLUTION : The composition containing polylactic acid component, which is obtained by melt ring-opening polymerization under specific condition, using a metal compound as a catalyst containing at least one metal selected from tin, aluminum, zinc, calcium, titanium, germanium, manganese, magnesium, and rare earth elements, under coexistence of lactide (1) and a specific phosphorous acid compound, is mixed with a polylactic acid component obtained by the melt ring-opening polymerization of lactide (2), being an optical isomer of lactide (1), to produce the composition containing polylactic acid.
