A novel coumarin derivative having a specific structure; and a method for preparing the coumarin derivative which comprise a step of reacting a phenol compound having a specific atomic group with a naphtylamine compound having a specific atomic group. The coumarin derivative is a novel organic compound having a maximum absorption in the visible radiation region and thus contributes the extension of the range of phtosensitizers which can be selected in the preparation of a photopolymerizable composition. |
