简介 An iron-based ammonia synthesis catalyst consisting of the following components, by weight : 89 to 96% of iron oxides; 1.5 to 3.0% of alumina; 0.3 to 1.0% of potassium oxide; 1.0 to 2.0% of calcium oxide; 0.1 to 1.0% of magnesium oxide; 0.1 to 2.0% of molybdenum oxide; 0.1 to 0.5% of tungsten oxide; 0.2 to 1.0% of mixed rare earth metal oxides; wherein the sum of the above percentages equals to 100%, the weight ratio of molybdenum oxide to tungsten oxide is in the range of 1-4 : 1, and the Fe2+/Fe3+ ratio is in the range of 0.4-0.6. The catalyst is prepared by fusion method. The catalyst has high catalytic activity at low temperature under low pressure, e.g. the ammonia concentration at reactor exit is 20.2% by volume, and has good heat resistance and poisoning resistance.
