PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an NdFeB based anisotropic exchange spring magnet having excellent magnetic properties. SOLUTION : The NbFeB based anisotropic exchange spring magnet is manufactured from a magnetic alloy of NdFeB based rare earth containing hard phases and soft phases whose minimal width is substantially 1 μm or less and the minimal distance between the soft phases is substantially 0.1 μm or more. The alloy undergoes pulverization by a ball mill and discharge plasma sintering to obtain the magnet. COPYRIGHT : (C)2004, JPO |
