PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a transparent conductive base material, having a transparent conductive film which reduces the use amount of indium being a rare source, and is concurrently provided with resistance value (conductivity), chemical resistance and durability.
SOLUTION : The transparent conductive base material includes at least three layers consisting of a first transparent film 1, a second transparent film 2, and a third transparent film 3 which are formed in this order from the layer closer to the base material on at least one surface of a base material 4. The first transparent conductive film and the third transparent conductive film are made of indium-tin oxide, and the second transparent conductive film contains zinc oxide as a principal component.
