PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To satisfy high heat-proof characteristics and good magnetization property through a high coersive force and realize high density of the bonded magnet using a magnet material having the main phase of TbCu7crystal phase. SOLUTION : The magnet material is mainly made of of rare earth element, iron, nitrogen, and has a TbCu7crystal phase as the main phase. This magnet material has the composition which is substantially expressed by [(Sm1-x-yRxZry)(Fe1-aCoa)zNv] (Wherein, R is at least an element of a kind selected from Ce, Pr and Nd, a is in the range of 0 ≤a≤0.25, x, y, z and v are atomic ratios in the ranges of 0.01≤x≤0.15, 0.05≤y≤0.18, 8.2≤z≤8.9, and 1.2≤v≤1.7).
