PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To display an image, which is nonconstant in distribution in the histogram of image data, in a certain image quality without performing a re-photography.
SOLUTION : A histogram of a medical image is generated (S301). On the basis of the histogram and the histogram of a medical image supposed to be ideal in an order in photographing the medical image, an LUT is generated (S307 to S309). Using the LUT, digital image data outputted by an X-ray plane detector is subjected to gradation conversion (S311).
