PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a composite particle which can be simply manufactured, and to provide a method for manufacturing the composite particle.
SOLUTION : As for the composite particle, a part or the whole of the surface of a nucleus 6 composed of metal M (M is the one composed of Fe with inevitable impurities or the one comprising ≥80% Fe and at least one element selected from Co, Ni, B, Mn, Si, Al, Cu, Cr, Ti, V, Mo, Zr, Nb and Ga with inevitable impurities) is covered with the oxide 5 of rare earths R (R denotes at least one selected from Ce, La, Y, Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb, Sm, Gd and Yb).
