简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a material for forming an alumina thin film, from which an EBC (environmental barrier coating) film having excellent barrier performance can be formed, to provide a heat-resistant member having an environmental barrier coating film formed by using the above material, and to provide a simple evaluation method for barrier performances and an evaluation device having a simple structure to be used for the method. SOLUTION : The material for forming an alumina thin film contains an alumina powder and a rare earth compound powder and is used for forming an environmental barrier coating film. The heat-resistant member includes a heat-resistant base material and an environmental barrier coating film applied thereon by using the above material for forming an alumina thin film. Further, by the evaluation method for barrier performances and the evaluation device for barrier performances, barrier performances of an EBC film using the alumina-base sintering material can be easily and efficiently evaluated.
