PURPOSE : A rotor of a pole transform synchronous motor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to install a magnet layer in a rotor core easily by forming the magnet layer by compressing/molding power, including magnetic material, in an outer circumference of the rotor core.CONSTITUTION : A plurality of conductors(120) is installed along an edge of a rotor core(110). Powders include magnetic materials capable of re-magnetization by an exciting pole. A magnet layer(130) is formed by compressing/molding the powder in an outer circumference of the rotor core. The magnet layer includes a rare earth bonded magnet. An oxidation prevention layer(131) is formed on a surface of the magnet layer.
