PURPOSE : A rotor of a pole transform synchronous motor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to achieve easily installation and fixing of a magnet layer by fixing the magnet layer in an outer circumference of a rotor core by forming the rotor core through compression of soft magnetic powers.CONSTITUTION : A magnet layer(110) of a ring shape includes magnetic substance capable of re-magnetization by an exciting pole. A rotor core(120) is formed by compression of soft magnetic powder so as for the magnet layer to be mounted in a mount groove(123) formed along an outer circumference. A plurality of conductors(130) is inserted along an edge of the rotor core. An anti-oxidation layer(111) is formed in a surface of the magnet layer.
