PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a spacer which has appropriate flexibility (hardness) without damaging the surface of plate glass and is used in laminating plate glass.
SOLUTION : The resin spacer for plate glass comprises a 1-20 mass% crosslinkable monomer unit having a plurality of radically polymerizable unsaturated double bonds and a (meth)acrylic ester monomer unit and has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 35-120°C. The plate glass spacer is particulate and has crushing resistance and the mar resistance of coated plate glass, and moreover the cracking of particles is extremely rare and the spacer is suitably used for the lamination of plate glass.
