The present invention relates to a method for producing cloned canines. More particularly, it relates to a method of producing a nuclear transfer embryo by enucleating an optimal mature oocyte collected from the living body of a canine to prepare an enucleated oocyte and transferring a canine somatic cell as a nuclear donor cell into the enucleated oocyte in optimized conditions, and a method of producing a cloned canine by transferring the produced nuclear transfer embryo into the oviduct of a surrogate mother. Also, the invention relates to a cloned canine produced by the method. The invention makes it possible to collect mature oocyte at the optimum time, can increase production efficiency by increasing the oocyte fusion and activation efficiency, and will contribute to the propagation of expensive companion animals and the conservation of rare or nearly extinct canines. In addition, the invention will greatly contribute to the medical research fields, including the production of disease model animals and the production of useful proteins. |
