PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth permanent magnet alloy with a high coercive force.
SOLUTION : The rare earth permanent magnet alloy comprises a rare earth-iron-boron type magnetic phase (R2Fe14B type magnetic phase) and at least a defect structure 2 in an internal structure. The defect structure 2 is included in the R2Fe14B type magnetic phase. Displacement of a domain wall of the R2Fe14B type magnetic phase is prevented by the defect structure 2 included in the R2Fe14B type magnetic phase, thereby improving the coercive force.
