PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To prepare an illuminant (a blue-light emitting body) emitting blue light upon electric field excitement, that is, a blue-light emitting body applicable to inorganic EL element; to reduce effect on trichromatic coordinate by changes in luminance; and to enable improvement in reproducibility of the light emitting device having the inorganic EL element and to enable stable display hardly affected by luminance change.SOLUTION : A sulfide light emitting body and a rare-earth copper oxychalcogenide (MCuOS, in which M is a rare-earth metal) are at least mixed and the resulting mixture is fired at 600°C or higher and 1, 000°C or lower, whereby the rare-earth copper oxychalcogenide (MCuOS) can be included in a part of the sulfide light emitting body.COPYRIGHT : (C)2010, JPO&INPIT |
