PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a nonmagnetic single component developing toner having excellent durability which does not cause melt sticking of the toner powder on an electrifying member or filming on a photoreceptor or a developer carrying body, which causes little decrease in the image density for long-term continuous printing and which gives a good image without fog or stripes. SOLUTION : The nonmagnetic single component developing toner is prepared by incorporating first inorganic fine particles such as silica having <=20 nm average primary volume particle size and second inorganic fine particles such as silica having 30 nm to 1 μm average primary volume particle size as external additives into toner particles having at least a binder resin, coloring agent and electrification controlling agent. Further, particles containing cerium oxide as an essential component and at least one of other rare earth element compounds are incorporated into the toner particles. |
