PURPOSE : An apparatus and a method for curving glass plate are provided to curve heated glass plate in a transferring direction and to re-curve in the opposite direction.CONSTITUTION : A method for curving glass plate comprises a molding step of transferring heated glass plate(G) by a roller conveyor(18, 20) consisting of a plurality of returning rollers. The molding step is comprised of a transferring-direction molding step and an opposite-transferring-direction molding step. In the transferring-direction molding step, the heated glass plate is curved in the transferring direction. In the opposite-transferring-direction molding step, the curved glass plate is returned in between lower molding roller and upper molding roller.
