PURPOSE : A heating and cooling apparatus using a geothermal heat pump is provided to store up the heat for the proper temperature of a house, thereby improving heating and cooling efficiency.CONSTITUTION : A heating and cooling apparatus comprises the following units. A geothermal energy collector(1) is installed in the ground. A heat pump(2) consists of a compressor, a first heat exchanger, an expansion valve and a second heat exchanger. A heat storage tank(3) stores up the heat generated by the heat pump. A heating and cooling water circulating pipe(6) circulates the heat of the heat storage tank in a heating and cooling piping(5) in order to control the inner temperature of a house. A third heat-exchange medium circulating pipe(3a) circulates a third heat-exchange medium in the heat storage tank through the first heat exchanger. A temperature controller lowers the inner temperature of the house when it is higher than a predetermined temperature while storing up the heat. The temperature controller consists of a heat supply pipe(10), a heat collecting pipe(20) and a valve for switching the heat supply pipe and the heat collecting pipe.© KIPO 2009 |
