A nickel catalyst for selective hydrogenation comprises the following components supported on alumina : (a) 5.0~40.0wt%% nickel metal or oxide thereof; (b) 0.01~20.0wt%% at least one of molybdenum and tungsten or oxides thereof; (c) 0.01~10.0wt%% at least one rare earth metal or oxide thereof; (d) 0.01~2.0wt%% at least one metal of Group IA or IIA in Periodic Table of Elements or oxides thereof; (e) 0~15.0wt%% at least one element selected from silicon, phosphorus, boron and fluorine or oxides thereof; and (f) 0~10.0wt%% at least one metal of Group IVB in Periodic Table of Elements or oxide thereof; the weight percentage is based on the total weight of the catalyst. Such catalyst can be used to selectively hydrogenate pyrolysis gasoline.© KIPO & WIPO 2009 |
