简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method, or the like for manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet that is not destroyed in transportation, or the like, has strength in which combination can be destroyed easily in magnetic field orientation, manufactures granules having improved flow behavior efficiently, improves dimension precision in a forming body and productivity in the forming body, and does not decrease characteristics greatly. SOLUTION : A primary alloy particle in the rare earth sintered magnet, and slurry containing polyvinylbutyral or polyvinylalcohol as a binder are thrown into a chamber 11 in a granulating machine 10. The granulating machine 10 rotates a main rotor 12 provided in a chamber 11 for flocculating a primary alloy particle and creates granules by loosening the obtained flocs by an auxiliary rotor 13 provided in the chamber 11. Then, after throwing the produced granules into a mold cavity, the granules are formed in a magnetic field to obtain a forming body, and the forming body is sintered, thus obtaining the rare earth sintered magnet.
