PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a new power supply system that stably supplies power to electronic equipment operated under extremely cold weather condition, utilizing a secondary battery.
SOLUTION : The power supply system is provided with a camera unit (12), which photographs monitoring targets such as rare accipitral birds; a transmission and scene recorder/unit (22), which is composed of a plurality of electronic equipment so as to record video data sent from the camera unit and to transmit the recorded video data to a receiver via a line; and secondary batteries (24, 26) that supply power to the camera unit and the transmission and scene recorder/unit. A delay means (130) for delaying the start of the power supply is provided in at least one electronic equipment so as to temporally shift the start of the power supply to the electronic equipment.
