PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a golf ball very excellent in repulsion.
SOLUTION : The golf ball features a composition of (a) polybutadiene having 60% or more of cis 1, 4 bond, base material rubber mixed with 10 to 90 mass% of polybutadiene synthesized by a rare earth element system catalyst that satisfies the relationship (20×ML-200≥η≥20×ML -540) where the Mooney viscosity (ML) (ML1+4 (100°C)) is 40 or more and 80 or under and the viscosity of 5 mass% of toluene solution at 25°C is η(mPa s), unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or metal salt, organic peroxide, antiaging agent, and a hot molding of a rubber composition made by mixing 0.2 pt.mass or less of the antiaging agent to 100 pts mass of the base material rubber. The invented golf ball is excellent in repulsion.
