PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To recover thin films like a metallic thin film formed on a glass substrate without breaking the waste liquid crystal panel, and to obtain high throughput.
SOLUTION : When recovering resources from a thin film like a transparent conductive thin film 6 laminated on glass substrates 1a, 1b and opposite faces of the glass substrates 1a, 1b by treating the waste liquid crystal panel 10 formed by sticking two glass substrates 1a, 1b, first, the waste liquid crystal panel 10 is charged into belt conveyers 31, 32 of a glass substrate separation apparatus 30. The belt conveyers 31, 32 have different sending speeds respectively, and the speed difference separates the two glass substrates 1a, 1b. Then, the glass substrates 1a, 1b separated as specified are charged into a resource recovering apparatus to recover resources like rare metals from the thin films laminated on the glass substrates 1a, 1b.
