PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a flux-cored wire for the gas-shielded arc welding which has high weldability of a solid wire, low slag generation, and consistent welding workability of the flux-cored wire, and further has very small spatter generation, and excellent mechanical performance of a weld metal.
SOLUTION : In the flux-cored wire for the gas-shielded arc welding with a flux filled in a steel-made skin, the steel-made skin and the filling flux contain, by mass to the total mass of the wire, 0.02-0.15% C, 0.3-1.2% Si, 0.8-2.5% Mn, and 0.05-0.35% Ti; the filling flux contains 0.1-0.8% one or two or more kinds of rare earth compounds in terms of the converted value of the rare earth element, and the flux filling ratio is 4-10%. The steel-made skin and the filling flux contain 0.1-0.5% Mo and 0.001-0.01% B.
