PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To stably produce a sintered rare earth magnet alloy having excellent magnetic properties.
SOLUTION : In the method where the molten metal of a coarse alloy is melted, the molten metal is cast into an alloy lump, the alloy lump is subjected to coarse grinding and is thereafter subjected to fine pulverization, and the obtained powder is subjected to powder compaction, and the compacted part is sintered, so as to produce a sintered rare earth magnet alloy, the fine pulverization is performed for two or more times. In the fine pulverization for two or more times, at least one time is performed using a vibration ball mill.
