PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a re-toning system for paint, with which retoning is facilitated and resources can be effectively utilized by providing data and materials required for re-toning to the user (client) of paint. SOLUTION : A client side terminal 1 sends the data of paint owned by the client (article data for re-toning) and the data of paint to be provided by re- toning (article data after re-toning) to an article service provider side terminal 2. While using a host computer 3 provided with the database of paint components, on the basis of the article data for re-toning and the article data after re-toning, the article service provider side terminal 2 calculates the kinds and quantities of paint components to be added in re-toning (re-toning data) and provides them to the client side terminal 1. Besides, on the re-toning data, the client side terminal 1 can order the paint components required for re-toning to the article service provider side terminal 2. |
