PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth sintered magnet which has a further improved residual magnetic flux density than the case when Al and Cu are added while exerting coercitivity equivalent to the case when Al and Cu are added.
SOLUTION : The rare earth sintered magnet contains a rare earth element R of 12.0-15.0 atom% (R is at least one kind of element selected from the group composed of Nd, Pr, Gd, Tb, Dy, and Ho, and contains Nd and/or Pr of 50% or more), B of 5.2 atom%-6.0 atom%, Ag of 0.005 atom%-0.30 atom%, Ga of 0.005 atom%-0.20 atom%, iron (Fe) of the residual portion, and unavoidable impurities.
