PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To simply and precisely evaluate a compacted state (forming state of cracks) of a compact which has been compacted from a raw powder.SOLUTION : This evaluation method includes : evaluating the compacted state (forming state of cracks) of the compact 1 based on a state of bubbles generated when the compact 1 of the raw powder has been immersed in a solution 2; or evaluating the compacted state of the compact 1 based on an intrusion state of the paint after having applied the paint on the compact 1 of the raw powder and immersing it in a solution 2. The evaluation method further includes combining the above methods to quantitatively evaluate the compacted state of the compact. These evaluation methods are applied to a compacting step in a manufacturing process for a sintered body (for instance, manufacturing process for a rare-earth sintered magnet).COPYRIGHT : (C)2008, JPO&INPIT |
