PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a selection method for an earth-retaining retaining wall structure, which reduces the excavation of a solid bedrock to the utmost.
SOLUTION : In installing a plurality of post materials 4, stretching a wall surface material between the post materials, and performing back-filling to construct the earth-retaining retaining wall, subsurface exploration is performed for the ground 2 of a slope to construct the earth-retaining retaining wall. (1) In the case where the slope ground is a first pattern ground, in which there is little soft surface ground on a solid bed rock 2b, H-steel post material 4A is used as the post material. (2) In other cases, a hollow post material is used. (2-1) In the case where the slope ground is a second pattern ground in which there is soft surface ground on a solid bedrock, and the soft surface ground is thicker on the upper part and thinner on the lower part, a lower back cutout cylindrical post material 4B is used as the hollow post material. (2-2) In the case where the slope ground is a third pattern ground in which there is soft surface ground on a solid bedrock, and the soft surface ground is thick extending over the whole height of the post material, the whole cylindrical post material 4C is used as the hollow post material.
