PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method and an apparatus by which the volume of dredge soil is reduced, conglomerate, sand or the like are removed, and the dredge soil can effectively be reused as resources.
SOLUTION : The method comprises : a stage where big intermingled foreign matters are removed by a screen 9; a stage where slurry 21 is made while adding water by a cracking agitator 20; a stage where earth and sand 24 with prescribed grain diameters 24 are separated from the slurry 21 via an earth/sand separator 22a; a stage where slurry 32 which has passed through is passed through a cyclone 28, and separated lightweight slurry 30 is passed through an earth/sand separator 44, so as to separate earth and sand 45 with prescribed grain diameters; a stage where earth and sand 24 further separated by an earth/sand separator 22 are cleaned by a conglomerate cleaning machine 34, so as to be separated into conglomerate 35 and slurry 36; a stage where slurry 46 further passed through the earth/sand separator 44 is admixed with a flocculant, and the mixture is stored in a slurry tank 49; and a stage where slurry 56 from the slurry tank 49 is struck into a high pressure filter press 57, so as to be separated into a dewatered cake 60 and filtered water 64.
