PURPOSE : A plug-in type air cleaner is provided to be able to consistently maintain clean and fresh air in the room by simply plugging the plug-in type air cleaner in electric outlets of a household or an office, thereby purifying contaminated air in a room and recovering anions that has been reduced due to the contamination of air.
CONSTITUTION : A plug-in type air cleaner comprises : plug terminals(10), an earth(4) and a terminal fixture(1) which are formed in such a shape that can be plugged in electric outlets having different types per nations, and which are capable of being assembled into or disassembled from a receiving groove(6) formed in a front side of a case(5); a high voltage generating circuit part(20) which is electrically connected to the plug terminals in a state that the high voltage generating circuit part is embedded in the case, and which boosts the converted DC power to a high voltage for generating anions after converting an AC power inputted through the plug terminals into a DC power; and an anion generating brush(11) which is electrically connected to a negative high voltage part of the high voltage generating circuit part, and which is installed in the case and exposed to the outside of the case to electrify anions with cations contained in the air.
