PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell provided with a dense solid electrolyte membrane.
SOLUTION : The solid electrolyte fuel cell is provided with a solid electrolyte membrane containing ceria and titanium into which rare earth oxide or calcium oxide has been doped, and the content of titanium oxide in the solid electrolyte membrane is 0.001 to 10 wt.% in TiO2 conversion, and suitably manufactured by forming a fuel electrode and the solid electrolyte membrane containing titanium by simultaneously calcining them after film-forming a green for the solid electrolyte membrane containing titanium compound on one face of the green for the fuel electrode.
