简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnesium alloy which is improved in castability (die castability) without deteriorating tensile strength and is minimal in malfunction incidence rate in equipment when applied to OA equipment parts, particularly DVD parts. SOLUTION : The magnesium alloy contains, by mass, 88.0 to 95.0% magnesium, 2.0 to 6.0% aluminum and 3.0 to 6.0% rare earth metal and has ≥80 W/mK thermal conductivity and ≥200 MPa tensile strength. If necessary, this alloy can further contain, by mass, 0.02 to 0.5% silicon, 0.1 to 0.5% manganese, 0.1 to 2.0% zinc and 0.1 to 1.0% calcium, properly.
