The procedure is for recycling equipment hitherto employed in signalling pyrotechnically for life-saving at sea or on land and whose useful life is ended or has deteriorated. The equipment is collected in specific containers, is classified, manually dismantled and the pyrotechnic charge is separated from the rest of the components. The pyrotechnic charge is introduced into a grinder of buoys, the shaft of which rotates at 750 revolutions per minute. The ground charge reduced to dust is placed in a container for transport to a closed and safe place, such as a powder-magazine. The remainder of the components are separated for subsequent re-utilization or recycling. |
