PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an organic electric field light emitting element capable of maintaining the element properties thereof advantageous even when the constitution is that in which a transparent conductive material film produced by sputtering film-forming such as ITO as a negative electrode is disposed on a light emitting function layer including a light emitting layer composed of an organic material.
SOLUTION : In this organic electric field light emitting element, the light emitting function layer includes an optically transparent negative electrode, an electron injection layer and a light emitting layer which are laminated in this order, wherein the electron injection layer is produced by doping a compound of an alkali metal, an element belonging to the group II or a rare earth element in an organic material represented by the general formula (1). However, in the general formula (1), A is a substituent having a phenanthroline skeleton or a benzoquinoline skeleton; n is a natural number of 2 or more; and B is at least one selected from a benzene ring, a substituent having a terphenyl skeleton, and a naphthalene ring, with proviso that when B is a benzene ring, all As contain any one of an alkyl group and an aryl group in the above skeleton.
