PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an alkaline-earth metal carbonate grain-dispersed liquid in which the content of the grains having an excellent grain size distribution is high, and, in which, particularly, the variation coefficient of the minor axis size is small, and to provide a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION : Regarding the alkaline-earth metal carbonate grain-dispersed liquid, the ratio of alkaline-earth metal carbonate grains in which the minor axis size is 40 to 80 nm and the major axis size is 160 to 300 nm is ≥90% of all the alkaline-earth metal carbonate grains contained therein, and also, the variation coefficient of the minor axis size of all the alkaline-earth metal carbonate grains is 5 to <30%.
