简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an alloy for an R-T-B based rare earth sintered magnet, by which an R-T-B magnet having an adequate coercive force (Hcj) and a high squareness (Hk/Hcj) can be obtained. SOLUTION : An R-T-B based rare earth sintered magnet comprises : R as a rare earth element; B; Ge; Al; Ga; Cu; T as a transition metal including Fe as a primary component; and inevitable impurities, wherein R is 13.5 atom% or more and less than 17.0 atom%; B is 4.5 atom% or more and less than 5.5 atom%; Ge is over 0.00 atom% up to 0.45 atom%; Al is 0.05 atom% or more and 1.50 atom% or less; Ga is 0.05 atom% or more and 1.40 atom% or less; Cu is 0.03 atom% or more and less than 0.30 atom%; and the balance consists of T and the inevitable impurities.
