PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor which can restrain performance deterioration in a high temperature load test as for a multilayer ceramic capacitor which is constituted of a BT crystal grain and a BCT crystal grain.
SOLUTION : The ratio of each content of one kind of rare earth element among magnesium, yttrium and holmium contained in a center part of a barium titanate crystal grain 9b to the content of one kind of rare earth element among magnesium, yttrium and holmium in a surface side of the barium titanate crystal grain 9b is larger than the ratio of each content of one kind of rare earth element among magnesium, the yttrium and holmium contained in a center part of the barium calcium titanate crystal grain 9a to the content of one kind of rare earth element among magnesium, yttrium and holmium in a surface side of the barium calcium titanate crystal grain 9a.
