简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method which enables the collection of ultrasonic data and use of the data to execute depiction of elasticity to a biological tissue, and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION : The method comprises collecting the ultrasonic data of a biological tissue in the relax state and the stress state, and then using the ultrasonic data to estimate directly a strain from the imaginary part of a complex function. In order to estimate the strain, the ultrasonic data in the stress state is re-stretched, and the re-stretched ultrasonic data and the ultrasonic data in the relax state are used to calculate the imaginary part of the complex function. In addition, a gradient rate is calculated, and then used together with the imaginary part of the complex function to estimate the strain. COPYRIGHT : (C)2008, JPO&INPIT
