The composition of the invention is made of oxides of zirconium, cerium, yttrium, lanthanum and the rare earth element in addition to cerium, lanthanum and yttrium, in a proportion by weight of zirconium oxide of at least 25%, between 15% and 60% of cerium oxide, between 10% and 25% yttria, between 2% and 10% lanthanum oxide in and between 2% and 15% in the additional rare earth oxide; it has a level of reproducibility, measured on a calcined composition 4 hours at 900 degrees C of at least 80%, the composition further comprising, after calcination for 10 hours at 1150 degrees C, a specific surface area of at least 15 m / g and a cubic phase. The composition can be used as catalyst, in particular for the treatment of automobile exhaust gas. |
