PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a sintering holder for a rare-earth magnet, which has a comparatively simple structure, is comparatively inexpensive and is sufficiently durable to repeated use.
SOLUTION : The holder for sintering the rare-earth magnet comprises : a substrate 11 formed of carbon or a carbon composite; and an inorganic film 12 which is formed on at least one surface of the substrate, is composed of an aggregate of particles 12a and contains cavities of 1% to 30% by porosity. The inorganic film 12 is preferably formed with a thermal spraying method.
