PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To eliminate the necessity of a mute operation by a remote controller when a user receives a call at his/her portable phone during the reproduction of information of an optical disk or a mute release at the end of calling.
SOLUTION : When a received radio wave of a portable telephone is demodulated by an RF module 6, a portable telephone number contained in a demodulated signal is determined identical to a number preset in a flash ROM 9, the received radio wave is determined to have been received for a predetermined period, and determined to be in a reproduced state, a voice mute circuit 16 performs a mute operation, and the muting of an output voice is executed. After the execution of the muting, when it is determined that there is no more received radio rave containing the portable telephone number, or the reproduced state is released, the mute operation of the voice mute circuit is stopped to release the muting.
