The present invention discloses a process for the production a an anti-reflective layer over a borosilicate glass body, in which a coating solution is used having a composition comprising from about 1 % to about 6 % by weight of HCL, from about 0.5 % to about 5 % by weight of H2O, from about 85 % to about 98 % by weight of water-soluble and easily volatile organic solvent. The suitable glass for the coating comprises (in oxide based percent by weight) 70-75 of SiO2, 8-11 of B2O3, 5-9 of Al2O3, 7-12 alkaline Oxide and 0-10 alkaline-earth oxide. |
