PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an optical fiber for an optical fiber laser, its manufacturing method and the optical fiber laser which suppress a temperature rise of the optical fiber in the optical fiber laser and increase an output of laser beams.
SOLUTION : The optical fiber for the optical fiber laser 1 includes : a rare earth adding core 2 to which a rare earth element is added; and a clad 3 formed surrounding the rare earth adding core. In the optical fiber for the optical fiber laser 1, an excited light Le enters from an end of the clad 3, and the rare earth element is excited to output laser oscillation beams L of a high output. The rare earth adding core 2 is divided into a plurality of core areas 2a, 2b, ..., 2n-1, 2n along a longitudinal direction thereof, and an addition concentration of the rare earth element added to the respective core areas 2a, 2b, ..., 2n-1, 2n is different.
