PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a high-performance positive electrode material for a solid oxide type fuel cell using an electrolyte of rare earth solid solution ceria.
SOLUTION : In the solid oxide type fuel cell using the electrolyte of the rare earth solid solution ceria, the positive electrode material contains SrRuO3 which is less liable to chemical reaction with the electrolyte, highly electron-conductive and highly reactive with oxygen. This actualizes higher output performance than conventional one while suppressing the performance deterioration of the positive electrode.
