PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a light-emitting device which emits white light of a reddish warm color type with good luminous efficiency, a phosphor which has an emission spectrum in the yellow to red region and is used in combination with a blue light-emitting device or the like. SOLUTION : The nitride phosphor is represented by the formula : LXMYN((2/3)X+(4/3)Y) : R or LXMYOZN((2/3)X+(4/3)Y-(2/3)Z) : R (wherein L is a group II element to be selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr, Ba and the like; M is a group IV element to be selected from the group consisting of Si, Ge and the like; R is a rare earth element to be selected from the group consisting of Eu and the like; and X, Y, and Z are 0.5≤X≤3, 1.5≤Y≤8, and 0COPYRIGHT : (C)2004, JPO&NCIPI |
